Geocache Description:

This is one of my hardest cache to date in terms of getting to. When the river is gone it is quite easy, but if not, its another story. The cache is by a little waterfall that runs down the canyon. I have seen Moose and Coyotes in this area so be cautious. Dont attempt this cache if you arent ready for the technical climbing and/or bushwacking.

Getting to the trail is pretty easy. Follow the trail past Morning shade and you will see a Avalanche danger sign. Go past it and you will get to a large rock face. If the water is gone, just follow the stream up to the cache and climb up the small slope. If not, you have to do some more difficult things. You can either try scaling the really steep dirt slope and continue bushwacking to the cache, or you can just bushwack the whole way to it. You can also inch your way around the rocks. Climbing the rocks is a better option when the waterfall is going. Go over or around it, then continue to cross the hill on the way to the cache. Once you get close to the cache, go up the little hill to the trees again and it will be there, sort of by the waterfall. Remember be very careful on this cache.
