Geocache Description:

Spending time in Thailand , You must visit a Buddhist Temple at least once . In Thailand they call them Wat . The series “What Wat” tells you something more about Buddhism in Thailand .

Most Thai Temples have beside the main Buddha an area with 8 smaller Buddha statues . One for each day of the week . Each day is associated with a particular Buddha pose . 8 Statues for only 7 days ? Thai split Wednesday in two : Daytime (06.00-18.00) and nighttime(18.00-06.00) .

The 8 different Buddha poses are : The protection Buddha , Buddha sitting with monkey and elephant , Contemplation Buddha , Buddha seated under a 7 headed serpent , Meditation Buddha , Buddha standing with arms crossed over stomach representing mental insight , Reclining Buddha , Alms collecting Buddha .

To find the coördinates for the final location you need to find the day that fits with every Buddha statue and replace it with its number . Monday is 1 and Sunday is 7 . The list mentioned above is not in right order ! To solve this puzzle you can eighter visit a temple near you or use your friend the internet .

Show your respect when visiting a Wat . Happy caching and thank you for smiling !
