Camilty Forest straddles the Lang Whang, the A70 road between Edinburgh and Ayr. The road’s name comes from a Scots word for a leather strap or bootlace, and at this point the bootlace is draped over wild, open moorland.
The trail follows the Crosswood burn, at no point will you have to cross the burn. Most of the caches are close to the path. The hints should guide you if the coords are a problem.
Can be muddy, boots recommended. Please watch out for uneven ground and hidden ditches at some of the caches.
