Join us at 9:00 AM on Saturday 11/05/2016 for a couple of hours of picking up trash around Hillsdale State Park. Coordinates provided is where we will meet. Please note that normally this area requires a daily use permit but the Park Office will allow geocachers in for free that are helping with the CITO Event. If you plan on staying at the park afterwards then you must purchase a daily use permit, which can be obtained at any of the Self Pay Stations in the park.
Grabbers, safety vests and trash bags will be provided.
*Please bring your own water bottles and gloves.
My wife and I started living our dream of full time RV Life at the Hillsdale State Park in March 2015. We wanted to do our part to help pick up trash around the park and around Hillsdale Lake so we started hosting CITO Events each month. Come join us if you are working on any CITO Challenges or if you have a civic mind to do your part by picking up trash.
Today's area we will clean up around the Sunflower Day Use Area. There is an archery range and picnic tables nearby.
