Geocache Description:


This will bring you to Lake Okaro. A little recreational lake that has a barbeque area and places to pitch tent and camp overnight. For a small fee. It can be access two ways. If coming from taupo take the turn off to murupara then left into Okaro road. Or the recommended way coming from Rotorua Waimangu rd. The views coming down that road of Mt Tarawera and surrounds are very nice on a good day. The cache will take you up to a viewing platform and that's where your hunt begins. No need to go in front of platform. Cache just contains a log so bring a pen. Happy hunting. CONGRATS Georunnermatt ON YOUR FIRST FTF:)
