A quick cache & dash on the beautiful single-track B8004 road which runs parallel to the Caledonian Canal. The road affords splendid views across the Great Glen towards Ben Nevis and associated mountains. There's a parking spot very close to the cache, on the opposite side of the road.
Cache was placed with the kind permission of the land-owner, Mr Ewan Trotter.
The cache has enough room for a log-sheet and pencil only, and consists of a 22mm diameter plastic tube, 70mm long with screw-tops at both ends. PLEASE FASTEN TIGHTLY!!
The replacement cache is located on the canal-side of the road, 45m South West of the original GZ, in a forked tree-trunk, covered by stickoflage. Coords will be updated soon.
