When our kids were younger we often used to come down to this area, bring the kayaks, swim, go on walks and have picnics here.
It is a lovely spot known by locals for the fishing especially. There is always a wide variety of wildlife to see while here. This one isn't on one of the standard established walking tracks, but is still an easy stroll. It can get very busy along here especially during the summer months, so look out for passersby.
