Wisconsin Geocaching Association: On 11/30/2016, the WGA GeoArt was published. The 2022 Board of Directors along with BigJim60 who is the trailboss of this awesome GeoArt have made the decision to retire the WGA GeoArt starting 09/01/2023. Thank you to all that have made the trip, or multiple trips to find these 192 caches over the years.

The cache containers will be picked up and will not qualify for the WGA Cache Rescue game.

Official State Domesticated Animal of Wisconsin

The dairy cow (Bos taurus) was designated the state domesticated animal of Wisconsin in 1971 (the state mammal is the badger).

The dairy industry has been important to Wisconsin's economy and heritage. A dairy cow is featured on the U.S. Mint's Wisconsin quarter, and milk is the official state beverage of Wisconsin.

Each dairy cow produces about 6.5 gallons of milk per day. Less than half of this milk is consumed as a beverage, the rest is used for butter, cheese, ice cream, milk powder and other processed products.
