The WGA is a group of fun-loving, enthusiastic, outdoor-minded people who like to geocache and we want to help others do the same. Our purpose is to plan geocaching events in Wisconsin that are open to everyone who wishes to sign up and participate.
In turn, the events we plan are designed for:
- Meeting people
- Communication
- Education
- Having fun!

The GC14DPD WGA Geo-Picnic 2007 happened at Wildcat Mountain State Park. On a steep ridge overlooking the scenic Kickapoo River Valley, this area continues to offer plenty of hiking trails with spectacular views.
For every annual Picnic, we hold a Pitch In style of food. Members are asked to bring to the picnic:
- Your own meat to grill
- Table setting for you and your family (or guests)
- Lawn chairs in case we run out of table space
- Beverages for your group
- A food item to pass Because everyone will be bringing food, please don't bring a large amount (enough to serve your group is sufficient) as we want to minimize leftovers.
Food items to pass are based on last name. Use the coordinates associated with the correct statement.
A: N 44° 35.048 W 090° 00.460
- Last name A-H: dessert
- Last name I-P: salad, fruit, and/or vegetables
