St Francis Chapel is a former outhouse of the C19 rectory in the village of Hunsdon. The outhouse used to contain a cobbled stone floor stable. The last time a horse was stabled here was in 1959 and this pony belonged the rector's wife. A new rector moved in in 1960 and decided that this outbuilding should be converted into a chapel. It was then thoroughly cleaned and converted becoming operational in 1962.

Today services are still regularly held in the chapel although it is cosy and the walls could do with some tlc.
