ckirbee: Time to let this series go. Almost 10 years ago, the men's group of C3 took time to clear out the trail and piece together several workout stations. It was a beautiful trail. Over time, age claimed trail and those responsible for the original project had moved on. When I placed this series, Pastor Collin and I had high hopes that having caches on this trail would spark interest in the trail again. At this point, there are no plans to work on the trail.

Following a chat with another cacher who was attempting to go after this series, I decided to venture out and give the trail a visit. Seems passing storms had knocked down trees and branches that ended up blocking the entrance and the trail itself. Mix in the overgrowth... the trail was hard to find.

With that in mind, and the church not planning to work on the trail, I am going to file this series in the archives. Thank you all who have ventured out to find it.

Geocache Description:

Please note - Cache is not at the posted coordinates. This is a mystery that will require you to visit two other caches on the C3 Fitness Trail. Please bring your own pen.

Stick to trail entrances to find the clues and access the final cache. If you are looking for a more kid friendly approach, I would highly recommend using the parking lot and sidewalk to travel between the stages. If you prefer a more adventurous challenge, feel free to explore the over grown trail going between the stages. Trail closes at sunset.

West coordinates = GC6W930

North coordinates = GC6TWYT

This mystery will lead you to a trail surrounding C3 Fitness, C3 Church and Oxford Falls Academy. There are several ways to approach this. Difficulty and Terrain ratings are set as if you were to approach from the trailheads and following the path. There are other approaches that offer more challenge.

At times, muggle traffic can be high around the parking lot. Please re-hide as you found it or better. Thanks. Enjoy!
