I volunteered to organise the next in a long line of Dartmoor Bi Monthly events and have decided to hold it at the Welcome Stranger Inn on the old A38 between Heathfield and Ashburton. Each and every geocacher is welcome to attend this event.
Where: The Welcome Stranger, TQ12 6JA
When: From 7pm to 10pm (although the pub is open longer than this)
The pub has asked for food pre-orders to ensure that they can accommodate everyone without their kitchen being overrun. To order your food have a look at the pub's menu here and then enter your choices here. Please do this no later than Tuesday 15th November so that I can get the orders to the pub in good time.
You do not have to eat to attend the event.
A few reasons you may wish to attend:
- Socialise with geocachers from across Devon and beyond
- Enjoy a nice meal with friends
- Witness the penultimate draw of the 200 club lottery
- Pester cache owners for hints on some of their devious puzzles
- Purchase geocaching merchandise
- Speak to members of the organising committee planning a rather special event in 2017
