Geocache Description:

You are looking for a Camo Bison, there is only room for a log, so BYOP & tweezers will be handy.

Parking available at the visitor centre. The track can be a bit sludgey in wet weather.

The cache is on the old Railway Branch line that closed in the 1950's. It ran from Woodhouse to its end at Intake, serving the Collieries, Birley East & West, Handsworth and ending at Birley Vale. The coal from Handsworth used to be tipped into wagons from Normanton Road, where the bridge structure is still visible, and ont the topside of the bridge, the track is still visible that the carts used and a part of the horse trough is still there to.

Congratulation to DIGGEMUP & cats-eyes on JFTF.
