Geocache Description:

A nice little cache and dash for those walking about the lanes around Adgestone.

A nice little cache and dash for those walking about the lanes and public footpaths around Adgestone.

Adgestone is a hamlet in East Wight, less than 2 miles as the crow flies from Sandown on the east coast. There are fabulous views over the east coast from a view point on the Upper Adgestone Road, also known as the Quiet Road. Anyone who appreciates nature, wild flowers and lovely views should walk or cycle this peaceful and narrow rural road. See pink and white rambling roses and honeysuckle growing through the hedgerows and swifts darting overhead during the summer.
