A Frankfurter is a thin parboiled sausage made of pure pork in a casing of sheep's intestine. The special taste is acquired by a special method of low temperature smoking. For consumption, Frankfurters are not cooked; they are only heated in hot water for about eight minutes which prevents the skin from bursting. They are traditionally served with bread, mustard, horseradish and/or potato salad.
Given the popularity of people who like wandering around secluded areas of countryside looking for sausages, the Banger Brothers decided to partake in some late-evening hide-the-sausage sessions for your enjoyment.
At each location in the series you're looking for a concealed sausage. They may be hanging low, wedged into a tight crevice, protected by an outer layer or hidden in a bush.
Bring your tweezers and a pen.
Please replace each as found in an attempt to maintain cleanliness, minimise moisture levels and ensure enjoyment for everyone.
Caches placed with kind permission of the Marbury Country Park rangers.
