Back on 6/25/2005 we found our first geocache 220 feet SW of here.

I just realized our first cache was a 3D! What were we thinking?
Back on 6/25/2005 we wrote this first log: "Our first found cache. We wondered around through the woods to find the cache. A valuable lesson was learned by the kids on how to lock onto a coordinate. It was great. Lots of kids running through the woods playing capture the flag. This will be a great sport!"
Back in these Dark Ages, one had to head out with a GPS that often had no roads built into the map. We were lucky, our Lowrance H20 did come with road maps but it was....Black and White (gasp) and there was no paperless geocaching. No hints, no description just coordinates.
You had to print out the cache pages and take them with you (oh, the horror).
Since that time in 2005, there has been at least 1 if not 2 caches too far from here.
