Stewarts Gully Station AKA Kainga
If you travel to the published coords you will note a slight rise in the road as you approach the bend in the road as this is where the railway uesd to cross. If your approach is from the main road there is a track to the left still following the line of the old line down to the location of the well gone old bridge and to the right about 100 m you will see the raised line of the track.
This is one of the more obscure stations on the main north line from Christchurch, the next station on from Belfast. At GZ looking through the fence to your right there is a black stain on the ground spilling over the railway mound made of coal so me guest is the station was between GZ and the coal. There is no need to climb the fence.
The station closed when a new railway bridge was built at the current location beside the main road road bridge.
The puzzle
