Geocache Description:

You are cordially invited to a Geocaching event, to be held at the Viaduct Inn near Cork, just under the Chetwynd Viaduct on the afternoon/evening of Saturday 19th November 2016.

The event will start at 6.00 p.m. and go on as long as anyone wants it to or to closing time, whichever arrives first. The bar is family friendly until 9pm when children are no longer allowed - the event will officially be over at 9pm. The time has also been arranged to allow for some local caching for those wishing to do so while there is still daylight.

As usual at this venue, we will have exclusive use of the "stage" area in the back, which is normally closed on Saturday nights and where we can arrange the tables to our liking.

There is a good menu of pub food available and will be served until approximately 8:30pm.

...

Formalities of event announcements aside... my 5 years in Cork has been wonderful and I would love to meet up with as many of my Geocaching buddies for one final time before I leave this wonderful part of Ireland - and of course if you're new to the hobby or just passing through - it would be great if you could join us too - you'll be more than welcome!

Leaving Co. Cork isn't my choice as some of you know but circumstances have now overtaken and make me to have to consider life changing decisions before they would forced upon me. So let's make this a happy occasion to talk about Geocaching past experiences, future plans and other conversations too!
