Carrion Crow sounds ominous doesn't it? Make no bones about it this area could send chills up and down your spine especially if you attempt this at night. ( I wouldn't by the way, Fruit can be busy and you will be out of sight but close to the road). I have secured the log container with a small length of fishing line so if a creature or cacher fumbles around with it it won't hit the ground and disappear in the leaf litter. It is hooked on to a small wire hook which was a little tricky when I was setting it in place so please replace it carefully. If you do find it dangling by the thread please replace it on the hook so it will be hidden.
There are places you can park on the East side of Fruit Avenue but be very careful to pull fully off the road if you do. Due to the vegetative cover I took the readings out on the road. It should be obvious where to go to start your search. The cache is close to the road but hidden from casual passerby's. It is an easy reach for me but may be a challenge for small children or wheelchairs.
