MaxB’s 730 US Counties Challenge Mystery Cache

You must successfully complete the “Challenge”, find final and sign log.  Finds on this cache, which do not have documentation of completing the Challenge will be deleted. You should find the “Hint” valuable in locating the final cache.

The Challenge is to find a Cache in 730 US Counties. 

In January 2013 we had found caches in over 1000 Counties.  In each of the following 4 years we have found 365 New Counties.  That is an AVERAGE of a new county Every day for 4 years.    

To complete this Challenge you need to have found caches in 730 US Counties. You don’t need to do this in 2 years (even though we proved it is possible).  For purposes of this challenge the posted coordinates of Mystery Caches will be used to determine qualifying county location.  All cache types (except Locationless) allowed on geocaching site are acceptable.

You can document qualification for this Challenge by posting your US County Map using GSAK, posting a bookmark, or any other way we can confirm your accomplishment. You may use the output of the provided Challenge Checker as proof of your qualification.  

We do not want anyone who has completed this challenge to strike out on the final.  If you give us notice when you are going to attempt the final, we will verify the final cache is still in place.

For those who are interested in such things, at time of placement MaxB has found caches in 2610 US Counties. Update - in June 2020 MaxB completed caching ALL the counties of the 48 states
