Martin112358 has returned from a year abroad, and Mandylion11 is visiting from Finland.
This is a chance to meet up with old caching friends and make some new ones too.
I would also to thank geofriends who looked after my caches while I was gone and buy them a drink.
Mandylion11 will be visiting Leicester from Finland for a few days and would like to meet some local geocachers.
There are no new caches or any entertainment beyond the usual geochat.
The pub is family-friendly and has a large car park. it is also within easy walking distance of Leicester railway station. Food is available, please see their website for further information, menus etc.
As always, there is no requirement to make a purchase in order to attend, but please post a ‘will attend’ if you … er … will attend, and indicate how many of you are likely to eat, so I can give the pub some idea.
If you haven’t been to a geocaching event before don’t be put off by not knowing people, you’ll be made very welcome. And you will know other cachers by the end even if you don’t at the start. Look around for a table with a GPSr in view and a log to sign, and probably a few trackables.
Drop in any time between 6.00 and 8.00. You can come early and stay late if you wish, but I don't guarantee to be there outside those hours.
