The event will start at 11.30am on Sunday 27th November 2016, and will end at Noon.
Come prepared as it is an upland area, you will need waterproofs, warm clothing, proper footwear, emergency rations, a torch and a shelter in-case the weather turns. An OS map, and the ability to use a compass would also be an idea to prevent you getting lost. You will need an ability to navigate yourself to and from the event site, and an awareness of your own safety and limitations. I would also recommend that you bring some food and a warm drink, it is November after all.
Please be aware this is a serious undertaking, though there are good paths from the parking suggested. Hopefully though the sky will be clear and we will get a view of the sky and also if anyone is interested I’ll point out a local peaks.
Come along, have a chat and a laugh about caching, bring some TBs, pick up some TBs. All will be welcome.
For those wishing to walk in as a group, if you log ‘will attend’ and look for notifications a few days before I will let people know from where and when I intend to walk up to the event.
As always with my events there will be a log book to sign (this is optional) and I will choose one lucky signatory at the end of the event who will be invited to claim FTF.
So I’m looking forward to meeting you on a hill, in the middle of nowhere. (Yes my wife thinks I’m mad too)
