If you've read the book, you may have an advantage: an advantage in discussing the book maybe, but probably no advantage in finding the cache. If you've found some of my caches in the past, that may actually help you find this one, but I'm guessing you won't need much help on this one. What you may need is a log extraction implement - not as I placed it, but things do change a bit over time; so pretend you're a good Boy Scout and "Be Prepared". This is meant to be fun, not gross, so please don't disturb or look in the rat trap that is pretty close by; it has nothing to do with the cache, and from the bottom of my heart, I would never place a fake rat trap or any sort of cache associated with one.
