Geocache Description:

#6 is the Guyton Grave. The Guyton burial site is located on the same trail. Park in the lot across from the church. Enter the Green Trail (marked by green rectangles on trees) from behind the Schoolhouse Shelter. The cache is a camouflaged container located less than 100 feet from the trail.

This is number 6 in a series of 8 caches placed by a county park ranger. The Guyton family lived and owned farmland right where you're standing now, assuming you found the cache. The county acquired their property when development for the park started in 1927. In the cache are historic photos of their barn and land. Enjoy the photos, but please leave them. And BYOP.
