Geocache Description:


Grong er en stasjon på Nordlandsbanen. Den ble åpnet i 1929, da Nordlandsbanen ble tatt i bruk fram til Grong. Fra Grong går det en sidelinje til Namsos som ble åpnet i 1933. Persontrafikken på Namsosbanen ble nedlagt i 1978 og senere er også godstrafikken nedlagt.
