"Lao Wei Jie" or "Foreigner Street" is a popular pedestrian street with a mix of foreign and local Chinese restaurants. Located at Lane 3338 Hongmei Lu on the dividing line between Minghan district and Chongming districts, only a few metro stops from Hongqiao airport and Hongqiao railway station. The closest metro stop is Longxi Lu - line 10. The closest cross roads are Hongmei Lu and Yan'an Xi Lu
The lane currently lined by restaurants was once a railway line. In 1971, Mao Zedong’s 101 trains stopped at this station and in remembrance, you will be met with a steam train on arrival. The street is lined with eateries from various countries and greenery is dotted alongside the brick walls and patios. Everywhere has a slight novelty or theme; however, it is worth exploring for a few hours if you fancy a trip down foreigner lane.
The cache is located just south of the main entrance along (Hongmei Road).
Due to high volume of muggles, great STEALTH will be required. Consider doing it at night!
