HS 1 Traditional Cache

The aim of this series is to give you a walk between the villages of Healing and Stallingborough, taking in the two parish churches. To entertain you along the way we have placed a number of caches. The total length of the walk is 7 miles, although it can be split into sections, and some of the caches can be done as grab and go. The first 2 miles from Healing school can be done as a circular. Some of the field sections can be muddy after rain so suitable footwear is advised.

For all caches please bring your own pen and tweezers

The Healing – Stallingborough series has 23 caches, but the route also passes a number of existing caches which can be added to increase the total. There are 3 easy multi caches. A lot of the containers are home made, and I suspect won't last too long before they disappear. Let us know if any of them are missing, and we will replace with more traditional containers. We would also like to know if you like any of them!

Healing - Stallingborough 1 Start at Healing School. On road parking is available on Low road opposite the school, but don't try and get a spot at school opening or closing times. Directions: From the school take the path on the main round in the direction of Stallingborough for a short distance. The public footpath is opposite the first bend alongside a fence going into the copse. The road can be very busy so take care when crossing. An alternative is to walk a little bit further along the road and take the lane leading to Healing church. This enables you to have a look at Healing church, and grab GC3VQG. To continue, cross diagonally left across Healing Manor car park and rejoin the public footpath, turning right towards the overflow car park. This will lead you to HS1.
