The Sturt River starts its journey from Uppert Sturt and flows through Coromandel Valley, the Sturt Gorge Recreation park (where this cache is located), through Marion and down to the Patawalonga at Glenelg, with the catchment area extending to approximately over 120 square kilometres.
Due to urbanisation and agriculture, the Sturt River has suffered a degradation in water quality, however efforts have been made to improve the quality of the water which supports a variety of biodiversity, including fish, yabbies and other small invertebrates.
This cache is located just off the main River Trail that follows the creek to hopefully keep it from being muggled.
Parking is available near the end of Ironbark Ave, then walk to the trail-head at S35 02.883 E138 36.215. You are looking for a Berocca container that contains only a small logbook, so BYO pen please. Please do not place any swaps in the cache.
To obtain this cache you will need to bring a 1.25 litre bottle (or similar) – this is the only tool you will need to get this cache, but you must have this with you.
Please do not remove the star-dropper from the ground
When replacing the cache, please ensure that the lid is firmly on the Berocca container.
