10 Years! New Frontiers Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

jadefalcon: The city made it extremely obvious you shouldn't cross the fence, considering there are no official holes in it. Maybe in a couple years when the planted trees grow our something. Or maybe someone else can come up with something that works here.

Geocache Description:

This is an entry in a series of caches I am placing in recognition of my 10th year anniversary of Geocaching in March 2017.

Kansas City, MO Parks & Rec has been busy at work building out the second phase of the 152 trail, and it is now open! This stretch runs from the corner of North Madison and NE 88th Street (near the new Costco) behind Costco, across Platte Purchase Road, and extending to Line Creek Parkway, never leaving the highway for more than a couple hundred feet. The trail then extends across Line Creek to join up to the older section.

I love me a good multi-cache, even if it is somewhat frustrating where the multi takes you. Plan between a half hour and an hour to locate this three-stage multi cache (depending on the speed you walk at) and expect to walk about a mile and a half. Park at the listed coordinates; at the time of this listing there is no parking lot but it appears one is under construction. Until the grass starts growing it may be a bit muddy on the approaches to all stages so plan accordingly.

Permission granted by KC Parks & Rec - Thanks Lorri!
