A night cache trail placed in the woods beside Ramelton Weir on the River Lennon.
The listed coordinates will take you to the starting point for the trail. The trail through the woods is marked with a number of coloured reflectors. You must follow these to reach the final stage and find the cache.
The trail is not suitable for wheel chair users as there are a few fallen trees that need to be negotiated in order to reach the final cache location. It is also advisable to find it yourself before you take any little ones to find the cache yourself and decide for yourself if the trail is suitable.
To begin your walk, once you are at the published coordinates you are looking for a WHITE reflector walk towards this and then then follow the AMBER markers through the rest of the trail until you find a RED reflector this will mark the final location where the cache is hidden.
Please take care when following the trail at night as there is a steep drop to the river on one side and there are several fallen tree's that need to be negotiated in order to reach the cache. The fallen leaves on the ground can make the trail slippy and it is advisable to carry a spare torch just in case one fails leaving you stuck. Finally due to the location of the cache there is a leave no trace policy so please respect this do not damage any trees and take all your litter home.
