The cache is located on the Guemes Channel Trail.
The Guemes Channel Trail project entails developing the old rail bed into a parkway trail. Once complete the Guemes Channel Trail will link the San Juan Ferry to downtown Anacortes and the Tommy Thompson Trail.
This can be a beautiful walk particularly at sunset, as the ferries make their way to and from the San Juan Islands. The scenic views and gentle grade of our waterfront trail system will provide safe transportation for walkers and cyclists of all ages and abilities.
The shortest access point to reach this cache is from a small pull out park off Highway 20 spur at N 48 30.536 W 122 39.132
