Geocache Description:

Once upon a time, many moons ago, a developer dreamed a a neighborhood nestled outside of the city of South Bend. How wonderful it would be, man made lakes surrounding a natural, lush forest. The land was purchased, roads were cut, and homes began being built. But..... it was not to be.

Much of his land was not buildable, and so the hopes of a beautiful road around this lake were abandonded. However, this lake turned into a interesting  sanctuary. Deer, woodland creatures, Geese, birds, Wild Turkeys all call it home. This cache starts where the road would have begun, after a quick walk, and then follows the path that was cut. We hope you enjoy your journey and expereince the beauty and serenity nestled in this neighborhood.

Feel free to have TBs stop and enjoy respite at Unexpected Lake. Squirrely is happy to help them on their journey. She and her children are often found at unexpected lake fishin' or playing in the dirt (like all good children should).

Extra caution-Muggles, dog poop (as Muggles like to walk their dogs here), and ticks. This is a heavily populated area for deer. Take precautions. Attributes are wildlife, dog friendly, kid friendly, winter friendly, poisonous plants, ticks, and less than 1K

This cache replaces GC5HRB coordinates have changed, also size of container. Help yourself to another trip and another smiley!
