This is my first attempt at a gadget cache. A gadget cache, by definition, is a cache that requires you to perform a task in order to obtain the log. It sometimes requires creative thinking in order to figure out how to open it. . This cache is located in a nice piece of nature that is nestled in the heart of Valparaiso. There is parking nearby at the YMCA picnic shelter.
After a recent geocaching trip to West Virginia and getting to experience first hand several different types of gadget caches, I decided to create one myself. Though inspired by the caches I've seen, this is a creation all my own. The only tool needed to open this cache is already at the cache. All you have to do is 1) find it and 2) figure out what to do with it. Nothing on this cache should be forced. If you've figured out how to open it, it will open with ease. I hope you enjoy figuring out how to open this gadget cache. I definitely had fun creating it, enjoy! Please put everything back as you found it in order for others to have fun figuring it out for themselves.
