La chiesa di San Silvestro di Pisa si trova in piazza San Silvestro.

È preesistente al 1118, quando fu data ai monaci benedettini di Montecassino. Nel XIV secolo passò alle monache domenicane.
La struttura a tre navate è visibile sul lato nord, sul retro e all'interno. La facciata fu trasformata nel 1770-1772 da Giuseppe Vaccà e Anton Francesco Quarantotti smontando l'architrave scolpito con Storie di san Silvestro (XII secolo), oggi al Museo nazionale di San Matteo, con altre numerose opere medievali e moderne provenienti dalla chiesa, oggi sconsacrata.
Le due statue dei Santi Domenico e Silvestro sono opera di Giovanni Antonio Cybei. L'interno ha il soffitto ligneo di Cosimo Pugliani (1612) e tele coeve di Aurelio Lomi.
Proprio accanto alla chiesa si trova il NEST, National Enterprise for nanoScience and nanoTechnology.

In 1118, the religious structure was given to the Benedictines from Montecassino. In the 14th century it came into Dominican hands.
The present façade was built in 1770-1772 by the architects Giuseppe Vaccà and Anton Francesco Quarantotti.
The façade once featured a sculptured 12th century architrave with Story of San Silvestro, now found in the National Museum of San Matteo, Pisa, along with other works from this church. The two statues of Saints Domenico and Silvestro are works by Giovanni Antonio Cybei. The wooden ceiling inside was carved in 1612 by Cosimo Pugliani, and has paintings by Aurelio Lomi.
Just next to the church you can find the NEST (National Enterprise for nanoScience and nanoTechnology) laboratory.
