Harwinton Land Trust has some great properties that offer a wonderful experience to see a beautiful area. With permission I have placed 2 additional caches (there is already 1 out here), to encourage you to come and explore.
Forever forest isn’t a huge property (12 acres) that wouldn’t take much more than an hour to hike the whole trail system here. It has pretty marshes, rocky overlooks, and different tree species are identified by sign posts along the trails. The trails are very well marked basically involving 4 connecting loops. There was already 1 cache placed out here, with enough room to encourage placing a couple more. Hopefully these 2 new caches will peak your interest to come and check this nice property out yourself. Perfect hike with young children or your pups. Be aware there is certain wildlife that you wouldn’t want your pup to get mixed up with at times, with so keep them leashed and have peace of mind.
