A forest service fee is required from vehicles traveling beyond the designated parking area. A gate providing, no fee, pedestrian bypass is locked after park hours and during "winter months". This is a popular parking area for access to a seperate trail up Mill Creek. The Kenney Creek trail begins a short walk due east beyond the gate.
