Geocache Description:

This is an extremely easy puzzle, that I hope will be helpful to new cachers as they learn the ins and outs of caching etiquette.

The final location is a reward for your hard work. Enjoy.

The final cache is at N 48 a b . c d e  W 123 f g . h i j

a) You have found a cache. Do you:-

take it home? (1);
sign the log and replace it where you found it? (2);
sign the log and replace the cache in a better spot? (3);

b) This cache is regular sized and contains toys and other stuff. Do you:-

take all the contents and add nothing? (5);
add snacks and gum? (6);
if you take something, put something of equal or greater value in? (7);
take something and put in small rocks, old wine corks or whatever is lying about? (8)

c) The cache you're looking for is in a woody park. Do you:-

pull all the moss off the rocks to find the cache? (0);
fail to read the hint or description, preferring to stomp around in the underbrush, in hopes you'll spot it? (6);
try to minimise your impact on the area, knowing many other cachers will be coming to this spot too? (8);

d) You have found a micro cache. Do you:-

stuff tiny toys and coins in? (8);
whine about how much you hate micros? (9);
sign the log (if it's a nano, just with your initials) and replace the cache as you found it? (9);
let your 4 year old sign the log, using up all the space? (1);

e) A cache is a 4 or 5 Terrain, and you are a 2 or 3 Terrain cacher. Do you:-

pretend you found it, and log the find? (1);
log a "needs maintenance" and complain that it was too hard to get to? (5);
put it on your "ignore" list, so it no longer shows up on your caching map? (8);

f) You are logging your find. Do you:-

just type "TFTC" or a smiley? (3);
thank the cache owner, and add something helpful or fun about your adventure? (2);
say "that sucked"? (1);

g) You are looking for a place to hide a cache. Do you choose a place:-

on private property, and make sure the property owner doesn't find out? (6);
where people have been dumping garbage so the cache is easy to hide? (8);
that you love going to, and you want to share the experience with other cachers? (7);

h) You are writing up your cache page. Do you:-

add a helpful hint to help preserve the terrain? (5);
put a very complete description in the "note to the Reviewer" space? (6);
make sure, before you submit it for review, that your co-ordinates are at least 162 meters from any other cache?(7)
all of the above? (8)

i) You are choosing a container for your cache hide. Do you:-

use an old yogurt container and leave some yogurt in it (animals love that stuff)? (2);
use a waterproof, sturdy container, camouflage it and label it as a Geocache on the outside? (9);

j) You are writing up your cache page. At the "Hint" space do you:-

either leave a helpful hint or leave the space blank? (5);
leave a hint like "rock" when you're planning to hide the cache in a rock pile)? (2);
say "this is an extremely easy find; if you can't find it, too bad, you're clearly not a good cacher."? (0);
