The Pietermaai District is a vibrant area known for its brightly painted colonial houses. The area used to be run-down and vacant, but in recent years many of the old historic buildings have been restored. Today, the district is home to lounge areas, boutique hotels, restaurants and bars; a perfect combination of old and new. The cache has been hidden in one of the boutique hotels located in the street known as Kaya Wilson Godett/Pietermaai. The smallest room in this hotel is waiting for you to come knocking on its door...
The cache is easy accessible and should be pretty easy to find. All staff including security know about geocache, so don't worry about entering the property when you're not staying at the hotel. Geocachers are warmly welcomed here ;-)
Muggles? Yes, there might be muggles around. In high season, there might be a bunch of them. But don't worry - most of them are on a vacation and will be too busy enjoying the view and their cocktails to even notice you wandering around.

A few tips:
- BYOP: There is no pen in the cache so make sure to bring your own (if you ask nicely and promise to return it, the staff might lend you a pen).
- There is free parking in the area. But make sure you don't leave any valuables in the car while you're out searching.
- Wear sunscreen. Always wear sunscreen.
