Geocache Description:

This Oak impressed me in 1966. It looked much the same then, as it does now, even though I have seen, and mourned, it losing parts.

Libe Slope Oak or Willard Straight Oak; it probably has more names. I'm sure I'm not the only one who pays attention to, and admires it when driving by.

It really looks Red right now, but it is a White Oak.

This Oak has always reminded me of the logo for the Swedish Savings banks. Which, to my surprice now is in English.

The clever animated advertisement on the bank building is apparently there no more. The tree rained golden acorns that turned into coins, before they dropped into the piggy bank.

This is the Oak today, 11/15/2016:

The oak tree, which is the national tree of many countries, primarily symbolizes strength and endurance. Other qualities associated with the oak tree include protection, success and stability.

The cache is a tied in, camoed, "micro" pill bottle. Yes, you have to push hard both to open and close it. When you are done, please make sure it's properly closed, so it doesn't get wet. Also, BYOP and put everything back as you found it or better, including the camo.

No hiding place by the Oak. You'll find the cache across the street.
