Disc Golf at Memorial Park Traditional Cache

This cache features the new Disc Golf Course built at Memorial Park. The course was built by the Brattleboro Noon and Sunrise Rotary Clubs as well as employees from the Town of Brattleboro's Parks and Recreation Department.

Modern Disc Golf has been around since the early '80's. Still not in the limelight of sports, it is still catching on. There are over 4000 courses in the United States. There is also a sanctioned Professional Disc Golf League.

The Rotary Disc Golf Course opened to the public in September 2016. It is free to use. You will need your own discs.

The course presently has thirteen holes with plans for an additional five in the future.

You will find Hole 1 behind the kiosk to the left. If no one is playing, you can check out the apparatus that they score in. Sounds like a lot of fun and good exercise.
