Based of an old event that was held in Geelong many years ago in 2004 by GeoJo, and another held last year by Capt.Roverman, this will be the 3rd Monopoly-Styled Car RallyEvent having teams or individuals competing to be the winner. So, In other words...

TO THE
🎲 GEELONG-OPOLY EVENT! 🎩
ITINERARY
This Event will run from 11:00am - 5:30pm
11:00am - 1:00pm : Meet & Greet, Trackable & Swap 'n' Drop, Registration & Lunch
Participants will arrive at Event HQ (table under the rotunda) and will need to register as individuals or as teams to qualify to partake in the Geelong-Opoly Event Activity
As this is happening everyone is welcome to BYO lunch (there will be limited bbq space available but we all know how to share). It also might be a good idea to BYO chairs as well due to very limited seating available.
- Teams will consist of how many people you can legally fit in a single vehicle so teams CAN NOT be spread out over multiple vehicles.
- e.g. If you can fit 10 people in your vehicle including the driver you can have a team of 10 but if you can only fit 5 including the driver you can only have a team of 5.
- Don’t forget this is meant to be a fun game so if you cheat you're only cheating yourself.
- Individuals are more than welcome to also play.
Information packs will be giving out to each Teams/Individuals which will have things that will help them during Geelong-Opoly Event Activity. This will need to be returned back at the end of the Event Activity for calculation of prizes. Teams/Individuals are welcome to keep them after the event has all been finished.
1:00pm - 4:30pm : Geelong-Opoly Event Activity
Teams/Individuals can now partake in the Geelong-Opoly Event Activity for the day in the allotted time frame of 3½ hours. Please remember to be safe while out in the field! *note the disclaimer.
4:30pm : End of Geelong-Opoly Event Activity
Everyone arrives at back Event HQ (you are welcome to arrive back earlier if you wish) and hand back their information packs to the officials at which point they can tally up the scores.
4:30pm - 5:30pm : Presentations & Group Photo
FTF will be awarded along with other prizes to teams/individuals
Afterwards : Maybe Dinner Somewhere...? Who knows - We're a funny bunch
Majority rules with this one... As we in Geelong love each others company so much and meeting and greeting new and old cachers alike, we also love to socialise a lot!
