Geocache Description:

Another in the BIRD series of caches.  This is in the Yarramundi area.

The Australian Raven is a large black bird with white eyes 48-52cm. It is sometimes called a crow.

Its throat has long hackle feathers that form a shaggy bunch as the throat balloons out when calling.

It has a distinct call - a loud wailing aah-aah-aaaaaahh drawn out, descending.

They were flying around calling when we placed this cache.
