Another trail in the Village of Qualicum that we haven't visited for too long. There used to be several caches along this busy little trail but most are now gone. There are several accesses to this area.
There is some parking available on Arbutus Rd. but the best parking is off Beach Drive at the old Railway Station. The trail continues for roughly two miles. The old railway track is on the West side and Hoy Lake Road goes and stops on the East side. The tracks have not been active for many years and there are now houses most of the way along the east side. School children and adults alike use this trail on a regular basis so be aware when you are looking for the cache.
The cache is our customary preform with a waterproof log inside. If it is damp, just wipe it off before signing. We have mentioned before, no signature on the log and no smilie for you. Enjoy.
