Near the old SFTM trolley line Traditional Cache

We are so close to Rte 112 and near the old covered bridge, it is an important part of history to know that thr Shelburne Falls and Colrain Street Railway had there main line here back in the early 1900s.

Passangers and freight transportation was provided in this area in the early 1900s, ending shortly up the way.  It was provided by the SFTM, which is all volunteer trolley service now, in Shelburne Falls.  When you drive on Rte 112 from this area back to Shelburne Falls, imagine what it was like riding on the trolley.  The tracks went right in front of the covered bridge.  There is a C&TH cache at the covered bridge, one of theirs at the museum, as well as another one of mine there.
