The cache is NOT located at the above-mentioned coordinates, but rather at a distance of up to 3km.
La cache n'est PAS aux coordonnées ci-haut mentionnés mais à une distance d'au plus 3km
In elementary school, all of the short stories I wrote in English class were about me. The lack of imagination and variety left them boring; not very compelling. Here's another story about me, but I hope that this one, about our first geocaching experience, will make you smile.... and lead you to another smiley face for your map.

MissARC (who did not yet have this name): “Daddy, where are we going? I thought I was staying home today to rest.”
AmazingRaceCanada: “Don’t worry about finishing your lunch; it’s a beautiful day. We should go out, be social with each other, explore a new part of DDO.”
“But what will we do?”
“I’m not sure. I heard about this activity called geocaching. Let’s go see what it is!”
When we got to our destination, MissARC was busy chasing a butterfly around the park.
“Now, we search.”
“I found a butterfly!”
“Not that, sweetie, find the geocache. Something is hidden here. Let’s get it!”
“Okay, daddy, where should we look?”
Being our first time, the search didn’t start off so well. I kept calling my daughter to keep her focused on the activity rather than on the butterfly.
“But daddy........ I need to finish my lunch!”
“I want to search to get the treasure. Help me find it?”
The thought of finding treasure did the trick. MissARC started to search one of the trees, pulling off a strip of bark by accident. Oops.
After checking every part of that tree, we moved on to another suspect … success!!! The geocache! MissARC was so happy! We signed the log, put everything back, then celebrated.
“What a fun way to enjoy a beautiful day outside! Now let’s go finish your lunch.”

Notes:
- I have had the idea for this cache for a while now. It took careful planning over time to turn this from a theoretical idea into an interesting, multi-layered puzzle. I'm done obsessing over the details on this one. Going forward (past Nov. 21, 2016), I plan to simply enjoy it; hopefully for a long time.
- Not sure how difficult it will be to retrieve the cache during winter. Solve the mystery and decide for yourself.
- To claim a find on this cache, you must sign the log book.
- Whether you are able to sign the cache or not until spring, I am confident you will appreciate the location.
- Chers amis francophones, malgré le texte unilingue, la connaissance de l'anglais n'est nullement importante pour résoudre cet énigme. L'attention au détail, pourtant, est un atout.
PLEASE DO NOT POST PHOTOS OR DETAILS ABOUT THE CACHE. It is very possible to write a nice, descriptive log of your experience without spoiling the hunt for the next geocachers. Logs with spoilers will be deleted without further warning.
Good luck, thank you for visiting, and happy caching!
