Another cache to add to those along the New Junction Canal and increase the potential to search in this area.
This container should be readily accessible by all, as it is right beside the main path. It is however, a reasonable distance from access points.
Situated beside the towpath which forms part of the 'Trans-Pennine Trail', this is one of a number of caches placed along a tranquil 2 km stretch of the canal, which can be done as a small series.
There is easy access by foot or cycle, along the pathway between Kirkhouse Green lift bridge and the swing bridge at Sykehouse Lock. The path can become well used by cyclists at times, particularly outside of the winter months, so beware of rapidly approching muggles.
