After having spent the day riding twisty Missouri highways and dirt backroads on my GSA along with a good long set of hikes and geocache finds over at Bennett Creek, my journey home brought me by this spot.
As I passed by I noticed the view. I made a u-turn in the road a bit later and returned to the spot. There is a good pulloff where several cars (or adventure motorcycles)
can park safely.
This time of year is perfect in the Ozarks to visit this spot as the leaves are falling so you can see further, plus the ones that remain are in beautiful fall colors. Follow the short (but steep and defintiely dangerous in inclement weather) trail to a large boulder protruding from the bluff. You will notice that muggles have definitely been here as evidenced by all the spray painting of the boulder, trees, and other stuff in the area.
Step out on the boulder and enjoy an amazing view of the Ozarks. That is the meandering Roubidoux Creek down below you.
When you are ready, head back the way you came and stop by the tree. You will know the one. Make the easy find and cover the cache up so that the muggles won't get ahold of it. I left a ring perfect for a little girl in the cache.

Once again, be safe at this cache. The rocks could be slippery and are a bit steep.
