Thanksgiving Anniversary Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

geminian: Here's another cache that disappeared after some wonderful playtime. I'm archiving it because I simply don't have the time to return and replace. Hopefully someone can do the community a favor :)

Geocache Description:

Tucked away along the eastern border of Forest Park in St. Louis lies a plaza commemorating the first Jewish settlement in America in 1654. I stumbled upon it during my weekly walks of the area. There's a couple reflecting pools and a statue with a plaque, circa Thanksgiving Day 1954. Too small for tradables, so bring your own pen!

This quaint little area is just steps from the busy traffic along Kingshighway. Plenty of parking in the surrounding area, but depending on where you park, you may be in for a little hike. Easily accessible from the street or the many paved walking trails through Forest Park. Please obey park hours.
