To get to the start of this mysterious puzzle you'll have to drive, hike, have 'tools of the trade' and your smarts.
This cache involves just over a 2.5 mile hike from either : The snow Gate @ mile 10 on Larch Mtn road, or The concrete barriers at Brower/Palmer Mill road intersection. UPDATE The trail has been naturalized at the old Creek crossing, now it's just scattered trees, rocks, and bulldozed soil with the creek flowing through. Approach from Larch Mountain road. (Unless the proposed Mountain bike trail gets funded) This will bring you to stage 1
I'm going to say 'NO Night Caching' - If you go at night, you may or may not hear the signal. Coordinates range from 45 32.866-45 33.266 122 06.897 - 122 07.445 based on environmental conditions. More growth, more wind = less range.
Bring the correct tools - if you don't, you won't 'hear anything'
#2 - Find Trackable : TB7994R visit link
#3 - (During the Nesika work trip Sept 19-20 I will be hanging a trinket with the coords- and will post coords when I do)
#4 - Once it's been found - ASK me in person at any Geocaching event and I will make the coordinates avaliable.
#5 - You could always ask a friend who has already found it, but that wouldn't be as fun.
#6 - Contact me, because taking a 5 mile (roundtrip) walk and not getting a cache just isn't very fun.
