The only thing interesting at this location is the sidewalk. As you may have noticed, the city and state have invest a lot of money to improve sidewalks on Camp Bowie West and add some plants in an effort to beautify this area. So why not use this location as an opportunity to practice your log skills?
When we started geocaching, we read up on how to do it right. One thing stuck with us: If a log contains only a few letters like TFTC or TNLN, it's not really much of a log. A good log allows you to:
- Make a few remarks about your impression of the location
- Offer thanks and comment about the condition of the cache to its owner
- Point out anything that's changed at the location that might create a problem
- Mention any trades you made
- Be creative by offering an extra clue for those who bother to read your log closely.
We log in the field, but you can log when you get home if you prefer. The idea is simply to say something meaningful. Disagree with some of this advice? You can mention that in your log at this location too.
Congratulations to RC+UC for being first to find this cache!
